The Nine Lives of a Feline Fatale

BioBiography
Selina Kyle had been a shy, mousy secretary working for Max Shreck, the cold-hearted, corrupt owner of a department store in Gotham City called Shreck's. Selina lived a lonely life in Gotham City, feeding stray cats and going and coming to work, feeling unappreciated in her life. Her mother called and nagged her, telling her to find a boyfriend, but no man who looked at her found her quite worthy of their affection. Maybe it was her demure way of carrying herself, her obsession with all things cutesy and pink, and her obvious lack of self-confidence. Well, no, there was no maybe about it. That's exactly what it was.
Things changed one night when she discovered that Shreck's plans for a power plant - which would be his intended legacy - were actually plans for a machine that would suck power from other resources and suck it. It would make Shreck undoubtedly the most powerful man in Gotham City, rivaling even Bruce Wayne. Angry that he had found Selina rummaging through her files, and even angrier when he discovered that she knew of his plans, he killed her by throwing her out of the window of his very tall building, in spite of the fact that Selina had promised she wouldn't tell a soul.
It was the night of Selina's rebirth. Cats milled around her fallen, broken body, mewling and shocking her back to life. Broken and disturbed, she came back as a woman more assertive, more confident, and more seductive. It took death for Selina Kyle to become a confident woman.
Returning home that night, she went wild, changing her apartment, getting rid of the cutesy pink home she had by spray painting the walls black, destroying her stuffed animals, and creating a form-fitting, tight leather catsuit out of an old raincoat that she barely used.
Catwoman was born.
She returned to work the next day, meeting Bruce Wayne, and starting a relationship with him, not knowing that he was Batman. Meanwhile, at night, dressed as Catwoman, Selina bombed Shreck's department store and met both Batman and Penguin. She fights Batman practically to a standstill, using her feminine wiles to throw him off. He succeeds in taking one of her "nine lives" by throwing her off a building.
To take revenge on him, she teams up with the Penguin to bring Batman down. When the subsequent plan is put into action, Batman is framed for kidnapping and murder and finds himself trapped in the Batmobile under Penguin's control. He barely survives, but Penguin - who has been running for Mayor under Shreck's guidance - has become more popular than ever. Although their plan was a success, Catwoman and Penguin's alliance falls apart when she rebuffs a sexual advance from him, and Penguin opts to kill Catwoman himself, stealing yet another one of her lives.
Later, Bruce Wayne meets Selina Kyle at a dance party hosted by Shreck, where she reveals to him her intentions to kill Shreck. The two subsequently discover the other's secret identity, but before they can leave to discuss this development, Penguin storms the hall and tries to take Max's son Chip. Max persuades Penguin to take him instead, and Bruce and Selina depart.
Batman, on Penguin, Shreck, and Catwoman's trail, discovers Catwoman has come to kill Shreck, which he unsuccessfully attempts to talk her out of. During this, Shreck draws a gun he took in the confusion and attempts to kill them both. Catwoman is hit four times, apparently leaving her with two "lives". She decides to sacrifice her penultimate life by putting a taser in her mouth and "kissing" Shreck, while also grabbing hold of a large electric generator and pushing Shreck into it, causing a huge explosion. When the smoke clears, Batman searches the rubble for Selina, but all he finds is Shreck's disgusting corpse.
Selina gives one last look at Gotham City by moonlight, before escaping into the night, away from Gotham at least for a little while.
Powers & Abilities:
Catwoman is a well-trained gymnast and martial artist, and well-versed in the uses of whips, all of which makes her a deadly foe when combined with her agility and cat-like reflexes. Her gloves have sharp, retractable talons and she's not afraid of using her feminine wiles to her advantage when she needs to.
Fittingly, Catwoman is a master thief possessed of unsurpassed stealth and cunning. An expert at both low- and high-tech heists, she is Gotham City's finest cat-burglar.
